Fraunhofer FEP opens new horizons for you in our new concept “Innovation Week”:
For companies and research institutions dedicated to the development of future-oriented technologies, we offer the exclusive opportunity to develop your innovative ideas with us and test them directly in our industrial research environment.

As part of our Innovation Week from February 24 - 28, 2025 on the topic of “Sputtering of Inorganic Layers and Layer Systems”, we will be presenting our coFlex® 600 pilot system. This roll-to-roll sputter coater enables coatings to be applied to flexible materials for functional layers that are optically, electrically and/ or decoratively effective. It is equipped with six stations, which use rotatable magnetrons and planar magnetrons, allowing a wide range of material combinations to be realized. An overview of these combinations can be found in the picture below. These coatings can be used as single layers or in layer systems and can be applied to various substrates such as polymers (except fluorine-based), textiles, paper and metal foils.

We carry out a joint campaign for the deposition of inorganic layers and layer systems using roll-to-roll deposition and are therefore able to offer you a cost-effective introduction to sputtering technology, even with small quantities of material.

For optimal preparation, we are offering all Innovation Week participants an exclusive introduction into sputtering on flexible materials on 20.02.2025. In this online presentation, you will gain comprehensive insights into our technology and its possible applications - so you and your team are ideally equipped.

The program is carried out in the presence of several customers, and of course we make every effort to protect your confidential information in the best possible way (non-disclosure agreement possible).

For participating in the Innovation Week, we offer you our coating services at a special price of € 1,500 to € 2,500 (incl. standard substrate PET Hostaphan 50 µm or 75 µm) and will provide you with an individual offer.
