Die anodische Bogenverdampfung von Graphit ermöglicht die Abscheidung hochwertiger, dropletfreier und glatter ta-C-Beschichtungen mit Anwendungspotential u.a. für Hartstoffbeschichtungen. Es wurden Abscheide-raten bis zu 18 nm/s erreicht.
