Flexible materials such as plastic film, metal strip, metal foil, ultra-thin glass, textiles, and membranes are used in many innovative products. The spectrum of applications ranges from packaging films to flexible OLED light sources. We develop and use roll-to-roll technologies to coat and modify flexible materials for various applications. Our core expertise includes a range of roll-to-roll coating technologies, such as slit-nozzle application with subsequent electron-beam cross linking, pulse-magnetron sputtering, electron-beam evaporative deposition, thermal evaporative deposition, and PECVD. These coating technologies are supplemented by processes for plasma and ion treatment of flexible material surfaces. Process monitoring procedures ensure quality and reproducibility in the development and manufacturing processes. These technologies are employed for specific applications and are constantly being adapted and improved. We devote ourselves to the development projects of our customers – from initial feasibility study to transfer of the technology to industry. We have unique roll-to-roll test facilities at our disposal for lab development to pilot-scale production.
